Really interesting to hear the weath of knowledge, ideas and help on the ausmini site, thanks.

From about 18 years ago starting from a mini moke (my 1st car) a few other various minis briefly after ( and all the money I had ) after an absence of 15 years I am now back in the game

I now love my beautiful 1968 Mk1 Morris Cooper S and 1963 Morris 850. Both of these cars were purchased in QLD and in an individual 1 day roadtrip style purchase with my girlfriend were both driven back to Sydney.

The smile is back :)

Chris

Hay, it's not about the car, it's not about the venue, it's about the people that come here. Peter Dwyer, Mayor of Hay NSW.

Thanks guys for the warm welcome, I now feel part of the ausmini club.

As my all time favourite dream car I am somewhat ashamed to admit that I selfishly drove the Cooper S all the way from Brisbane and I was so petrified of damage that it now resides in a carcoon (humidity controlled storage bubble) - i know - iknow

However the 850 will get the treatment soon as I wear holes in the carpet and John's patience at Mini King.

I promise to post pics soon.
