You think that finding split pins for Cooper S calipers wouldn't be too hard.

After driving around to 1/2 a dozen different places, including clutch and brake specialist... still nothing. The mob that are known to be 'Mini guys' in Geelong don't have any and told me to go looking in wreckers! Good luck with that.

So close, but can't drive the thing without these 50c parts.

End rant.

ha,,, i know exactly what you`re saying,,, i spent ages trying to find local fastener company to supply me with them,,, finnaly i found a box of 200 of them :-)

I bought the extra long ones so they can be used in the 4 pot vented calipers & just cut them short for 2 pot stuff

easy-peasy,,, how many do you want ???

I'm having 2 delivered by the weekend.

It's not currently sporting a coathanger fed through and twisted to join. Not for road use. It's so I can bleed the brakes and transport it on the trailer (so it at least has brakes).

Been there done that, after both crappo Chinese split pins came out/broke off/wore away and I lost a brake pad... and braking.:x
I gave up looking for good (Oz) 1/8" ones, I now use bits of 1/8" welding electrode with the flux brushed off, cut to 80mm long and bent over.

Like this.... no way these puppies will straighten or wear through. :P
