Yes he and Charlie Winecompany Name (dementia setting in).

I was with him (Peter) at one race meeting and he was being accused of cheating and he simply said to them "there is the car pull it to pieces, find the cheating" "just put it back together when you finish" and then walked away. However, there were some things.

There was a Rex D'Aquino that had the wine business on Bathurst Road in Orange ( Just down from where I worked at CBN 8 )
Charlie is a nephew or cousin or son or something. He was related to the blokes from Orange, for a while he had D'Aquino Wines on the side of the car. Charlie was in the Police Force.

The LS is now back on the road after the broken valve problem. The head man also reseated a couple of the other valves while he was at it as they were not quite sitting right..

Btw, the LS is still for sale....

I had that in my e-type. The oil feed to the head had become blocked.

I was overtaking a semi on a single lane road - dropped it down a gear and one valve, two valves, three valves four - all broke and started chewing up the head and pistons. Horrible noise - bits of valve and piston, head and flame coming out the exhaust - just horrible.

Here is a photo of the valve.. It broke up near the top, dropped down and then was pushed back up again and ended up like this, getting jammed in the head..

The shape looks like the 7 I took out of my Fiat 124 Sport when the cam belt stripped at idle...
