hi all again.
just two questions??
I was going to replace the bonet rod that holds the bonet up with an alloy one for some extra bling??as long as i can get some alloy rod that will hold it up..shouldnt bend as its not like you have ya bonet held up for to long...plus i normaly just take it off when working on the engine anyway..your thourghts???

also was going to replace the metal strap that holds the petrol tank in place with some aloy two ...its easy to bend just have to ask if its legal as some alloys can crack...my dad has warned me on this...i would make sure its thick enough to do the job..your thourghts on this also...

Or you can have the original one Chromed. Alum Rod is a bit hard to bend so sharply to form the ends properly without cracking.

I don't think KAD make one of these... shame 'cos that would be an easy 10 hp gain!

You can hold up the bonnet with 1 finger, so unless someone leans on the bonnet when up it will be fine.

Can't say about the tank strap.

I have a Anodised Alloy Bonnet Prop ( ) Bonnet holder somwhere..havent seen it for some time...actualy got it from Cody  . Mine is a dark colour and have to now find it , now that you have drought this up :x

Don't forget you dont want people looking at this part of your engine bay ,but your Motor, Don't draw thier attention else where 8)

Petrol tank strap..its strap once again why draw attention to a strap, paint it the same colour as the tank so it blends and hell a lot less $$ waisted where it could be used else where. My htoughts and you know I like my Bling

1018cc's gas ram conversion is better - then you can tell people you have an invisible bonnet prop, or you've polished it so much that it reflects light THROUGH it

I think The Van Man was making a very good version of the Gas strut Kit for Minis and selling them. They worked very well.
