I say let the wood-ducks bag out minis.
1. Who cares what they think anyhow
2. More minis to go around for us all ;-)

The whole bag out minis topic is a funny one; like the yellow khana car it appears from time to time (but less frequently I should say!!!)

Last time this stuff happened to me regularly was in high school when young blokes thought a car was an extension of their, errrrmmm...you know what. And that's why most kids wanted big cars with huge engines and were also afraid of getting something different as people might pay them out  . Regardless of what they wanted most people I knew ended up with boring Korean cars without any style and simply wanted transport or ended up with ultra rice machines. (Some guys I knew went down the most shameful past, auto N/A jap imports :x )

But, 99% of the time everyone loves Minis and everywhere I drive mine people look, stare and often give the thumbs up! As others on here say, if they don't get it, they never will so don't bother trying to convince them.

You were crazy enough sober when I met you.
I reckon you'd be uncontrollable if you were pissed.
Loud and annoying, but funny.

Mehh , the uneducated always bag them out and it isn't worth your breath or energy to try and educate them . They will never understand why we are so passionate about mini's because they are often so bland and boring themselves , they drive boring cars and the extent of their customising is either a surf clothing brand sticker or a frangipanni sticker . They have no idea how to look after a car and perform basic maintenence let alone change points or anything more technical , they haven't learnt how to be self sufficient and persuade a badly behaving car to get home on a wet afternoon , they will end up living a boring existence in a beige painted unit in a block of 80 other people living boring existences while we are having fun hanging out in someone's cold garage with copious amounts of alcohol while we help/watch them change a cv joint or head gasket talking crap . When was the last time you saw a kia or hyundai or similar owner stop to help another one broiken down on the road ? If it's a mini broken down several people will stop to help as they owned one and remember how much fun they were and want to join in the fellowship of coaxing it to run again .

LOL!!! I am shy and quiet... I hardly said boo thank you very much Damian... So there is nothing to expand on when drunk! I just do random things like hump pub lounges and constant running man to get through crowds only to get looks asthough.. "Woahh, wtf is this midget on".. As they back away and let me through. I am fun. High 5 me. Woo.
