I've got an 1100 magic wand but need to convert it to a remote change. Anyone care to outline the steps or point me in the direction of a quide/walkthrough or similar?

Regards, Matt.

um. not too sure what the mini is as just about every scrap of I.D'able stuff has been removed as its a sprinter. Its my Twini, and has numerous holes in the floor for gearsticks. The 1100 didn't come with the car.

Its a round nose and thats bout all i know. I've asked on here a long time ago if anyone could ID it but to no avail with many clashing opinions. Photobucket isnt working for me so i'll put a pic up at bout 4 SA time when i get home, if that helps

If you can describe how the gear stick currently connects/attaches to the diff housing? that would give us a start as to what you will need to do

once you have a remote setup correctly (which isn't much effort) they are better than the other two. I have drive a wand and putting one into my Van so I will have experiance...but dont expect it soon but have driven one for two weeks and Loved it. A Rod change I had for two years in my younger days and also had no troubles with that.
Yes I controdict myself here but I know Better than my younger years and remote is beeter in my oppionion

Mattmini, I have plenty of gearbox casings/diff casings and a coulple of remote shift assemblies . Come for a look and I am sure I can put one together for you.
Do you want a 3syncro or 4 syncro remote shift box
