This is the bit where the BMW M5 that I was driving didn't want to follow the track...

lol - I was thinking about that one... could imagine BMW saying "we're doing something BMC should have done in the 60's, we believe rear wheel drive is the best layout for safety and handling so the next evolution of the MINI is now not only bigger and uglier than a proper mini, it also has nothing in common with it, and spits in the face of the iconic creation that revolutionised motoring"

Cushie - If they make a broadspeed that looks like yours I want to drive one!! That looks amazing.

I was not a lover (thought they had potential) but definitely not a hater until I heard three words come from BMW.

Exactly my point, if they respected the heritage they would understand what each model was historically and continue that tradition. Not just string random terms together.

It looks more like a Cappacino than a mini

Yes, definitely prefer your effort Cush. It's even potentially more practical with a larger boot.

I normally don't say things like this and I'm not trying to be harsh but that Bini one looks $hit  It's got smaller doors/windows so it'll be harder to get in, the roof looks like a backwards cap "yo homie G" and that boot ledge and back looks as bad as a 121 bubble :x
