i have a original mini cooper filter air box looking thing.

it has all original 'paint' on it still saying mini coopers made in England.

is it worth much? mines a smaller looking one not a double looking one?

i thought i saw some one buy one on here for like 1000au maybe mine is not the same?

mine needs cleaning up & i see you can buy the stickers new?

would you reccomend cleaning it up & buying new stickers?

or sell as is all original?

any one have a picture of what ones are worth anything.

Hi NG,
It sounds like you might have a standard old COOPERS air filter and that COOPERS isn't related to a Mini Cooper in any way. The COOPERS filter is finished in gloss black and has a yellow or white screen print name/instruction detail on the side.

Regards
Al

I haven't seen that sticker before. I have the blue and white one on the front of the face. When was this one used?

Its not a sticker, its a decal. Originally the details were screen printed on to the air cleaner housing, these decals have been made to replace the originals when you paint the housing. They were used on other BMC air cleaners as well.

The Blue & white sticker was used on the Cooper & S air cleaner housing as well as some MGs etc.
