Picked up seats from the trimmer this morning.

Tried to recreate an early Cooper look and was lucky to get the red and grey that matches the paint. Stitching and piping looks good I think. The trimmer is a retired guy that likes to something different and I am more than happy with his work.

Finally got all the dings out of the passenger door and got it back into shape - feels about 5Kg lighter without all the bog  While having a breather doing that I de-rusted the inside of the petrol tank and painted it with Killrust epoxy paint - Thought I had done it before but obviously hadn't - now looking good on the inside.

Changed over the lower suspension arm and tie rod on one side for fully adjustable version.

Lapped in the ball joints using the ginding paste and electric drill trick - gee it makes a difference - smooth as - trouble is now I need more shims to take up the slack

Knocked out the new old ball bearings and started to fit the new Timken Rollar bearings in one hub.

Measured up Ty's Mini carrying trailer with removable sides. 8)

Installed a shiny Jaycar 12V socket so I can plug my iPhone in for the Asparagus Job and keep it charged. Also means I can charge spare batteries for the camera, walkie-talkies, etc 8)
