The wiper motor was made in England and took the slow boat?

The date on the wiper motor is not the manufacture date of the car. It is the manufacture date of the wiper motor. It is a rough indication of the date but it is not reliable.
But the main source of paint dates is the Dulux book. Dulux was not the main paint supplier for BMC and the dates shown in the book are only a guide and are not 100% accurate.
But if you send your car numbers to Sports850 he can probably narrow down when your car was made.

I still think it looks HOT. Seriously considering it for my convertible mini. Neutral grey with a nice airbrush design on the side. Will have to do a test run of it against a saxon green interior though, they're both pretty plain colours, could turn out nicely. Anyone got a paint code for Neutral Grey?

Will be updating it in the next day or so to add some more from 850man and Rehab1964 so I can add yours at the same time and narrow it's age down as well .
