Just get a metal valve cap or a metal valve extension and attach a hose to it. You do not need to buy a tractor valve or a $90 valve to do the job.

Actually the very first one that I ever pumped up I used the hose from a foot pump with the little lever to lock it in place. It kept blowing off but it did eventually pump it up.

This is the end on my pump. It is made from a valve extension that has been silver soldered to a brass fitting.

And this is my hydro pump. It is made from a Mini plastic tank master cylinder and is fitted to a Morris 1100 pedal box. The ice cream tub gives it a larger capacity so it does not need filling every 4 strokes.

I did the same, I soldered a brass valve cap into a 1/8BSP brass fitting, then used 2 Mini front brake hoses and a bit of pipe. The MC is a tin tank one on a Fiat 124S pedal box. I top it up every 10 strokes.

Very clever - and so simple. You guys amaze me.
How do you bleed the air out of the line?

I leave the fitting loose on the schrader valve and pump it till fluid comes through and then nip the fitting up.

I found that if you don't bleed all the air out of the hose it will not push the air past the schrader valve. So you have to remove the air for it to work. So that makes it idiot proof (but maybe not fool proof)

I leave the nut on the pipe slightly loose so I can spin the fitting onto the car. Before I do that I purge the fluid to the end fitting. Then screw it on, and tighten the flare nut on the pipe.
BTW the seal is the standard square rubber ring, found inside all brass valve caps.

Mine has no seal. It is a tapered thread so it seals as you tighten it up.

Well I managed to get it to the mini joint to get pumped up. Secret was to change my rear tyre to the spare "10" in the back and put a bit of wood under the rear stop. Worked like a charm. Bumpiest ride I have ever had tho, handled nicely but.
