well i hate to say it but you both want to raise the bar a heap rob diamanti's ford blue clubby with the full leather interior 13" simmons turbo motor and all the other bits is the cleanest and the i honestly have to say it is one of the best mini's i have seen either in australia or in any of the mags it is great ........
i have gotten up close and personal with this car and i could not fault it

heaps good! if you want a turbo one, midel can convert it for round 250.... or buy a turbo one brand new for 500 (depending on exchange)...

what is the formula for this killer engine build???

Midel can convert an SU TO Blow-through Turbo Setup ?
Nice.....

Personally, if i had the cash, i'd go with the NEW one (Hopefully Ex-Burlen!)

Then again, still contemplating "Wet-Manifold" injection........

slightly off topic cause its not a mini, but maybe give you more ideas, like two tiny turbos, 1 for each inlet port? hah!

Why ? All it will leak is air ........ and not very much at that !
Should already have labyrinth type seals on the shafts anyway...

you need the bigger injectors because each inlet is feeding 2 cylinders... I was talking to the guy that is going to make up my turbo manifolds today and he was thinking bout options for efi...
he thought that 4 smaller injectors, two in each inlet, would be ideal as you could rig it so that at idle and low throttle settings only run 2 of them and then let the other two kick in at a set stage to give more fuel...

Many people have tried..just as many have failed, even the factory couldn't get it right for a power tuned car..
