Hi all. What do you think idle oil pressure should be in neutral and drive? I have 55lbs in neutral and down to 10lbs in drive? Is this too low? Cheers

Yes it's too low.
The oil pump in a Minimatic is huge, idle pressure (unless the relief valve is stuck) is usually around 40 or 50psi. 70-75psi when driving.

There is a gauge test plug on the transmission, near the filter. You need to do pressure checks there with a gauge. There could be a leak in a clutch seal or a band servo.
Normal pressure THERE, not at motor, (hot) is as follows:
1000 rpm in all gears (except reverse) = 75-85psi.
Reverse only = 115-125psi.

I am assuming that when he says 10psi in drive he means at idle.

I would check the pressure at the gearbox like DrMini says.
