Then he told me the colour that it is going to be painted
All I can say is that I will take a few pics when it gets to that stage. It will be different!

Looking good though.....get the feeling the owner has read this thread and thought it wiser to keep original colour lol :P

can you now spill the beans and tell us what color they were thinking of painting it?

It's supposed to be Saxon Green.. . maybe when the outside is painted next week it will look like the correct colour?

i thought you'd said earlier that they'd been planning a different color then changed back to saxon green?

Straight off the gun-let it sit for awhile now.I think the owner, who hasn't seen it yet will be in for a surprise.

Yep-I'd say time and money.I do know that eventually the engine will be coming out for a tidy up.
Like most of us,sometimes you can't wait to get your Mini out for a drive and it just motivates you to get more and more down on your Mini :D

WOW , looks stunning . I have to agree with the others though , an hour to strip the boot would have made all the difference .

Likewise. Why go to the trouble of painting the interior which will be covered by carpet etc. and leave the boot all shabby where you can see it? Spoils the job IMHO.
