Geees 100% is unreal!!! What subject was it for, design tech or something? I remember years ago when I did mine and I was pretty happy that I managed a band 5, let alone what you've achieved. Good on you.

Cheers
Alex

Hi Leighton,

No I didn't I'm sorry to say, I couldn't afford to at that time so I did Guitar, I was doing Design Tech and at that time your physical project wasn't worth many marks, it was all the the folio. Are there any photo's of your finished mini anywhere?

Hello everyone

Name is James (jimmy) i am located in central victoria

Just about to embark on the journey of restoring a 75 clubman

as this is my first restoration of a car you can all expect many questions coming your way so i appologise now if any questions seem really obvious and borderline retarded.

I have 2 shells one is a 75 the other a 76 both clubmans, some parts came with the cars but im sure im also missing quite a few. one shell i plan to restore with mostly standard everything with the exception of twin carbys ect for a little more on road performance, my other shell will be for the fun stuff mucking around on the farm.

Looking forward to hearing any ideas and advice along the way from you all.

Thanks

Hi Jimmy, Glad to see you have taken the plunge.

Just hanging around what others post on the forums can be quite helpful and has certainly helped me find better and quicker ways of doing things.

Hopefully you enjoy your time around here as much as I do.

Cheers, Nick

Welcome Tim!

There seems to be a few new WA faces on here recently.
You might have seen some of the http://www.sdminiclub.org.au/ cars on Sunday?
We had a Mystery Run which ended in Mandurah.

Hi All,

Im Kirby, currently in geelong, Victoria. Im only 20 but Ive been a fan of minis for a long time and recently picked up a 63? round nose off this forum for a great price.

Its only my second car, The motoring bug bit me when I was forced to rebuild my lemon of a first car.

Anyway Ill be lurking around here gleaning all the information while I decide the best way to get a power house mini.

Pics are here if anyone's interested:

Hi everyone, I just found this thread.

I'm Rod from Kulin in WA. I have three Minis, none going at the moment. A very rusty SS, a 75 Clubman and a Deluxe of some unknown vintage.

In a past life i have owned about six other Minis including an ex works 1970? Cooper S with 1310 engine. Great car, great fun but was seduced away from the Mini by a Torana GTR XU1. Oh well get over it Princess.

Cheers
Rod
