A Mini-Parts Convoy sounds good to me, either drive straight through or over night via Mt Gambier, I,m sure if we left Fri late afternoon/ early evening we would be there before lunchtime Sat.

I'm seriously thinking about heading over for a look. Well not just a look. No use going all that way and coming home empty handed.
I'll check my weekends, check with Steve , check my bank balance and let you know if/when I go.
Anyone else keen or are we all talk?

Sorry timing all around for me I'm afraid, both $$$ wise and in the fun-debt department with The Minister. There's no way I'll get another road trip in this year

Well if we leave Friday night about 5.30 / 6.00 ,I think it might be better to drive to Nhill, thats about four hours, stay the night, then its only 4 hour's from there to Adelaide. I really dont like the idea of driving straight there after a full day at work. Then if we leave Nhill at 5.30am we will be there by 10am for the Parts Rumble , then the same thing on the way back , leave Adelaide at 5pm to Nhill , stay the night, leave at 5.30am then back in Melbourne by 10am Sunday.

yeah, call it stupidity or awesomeness but I might have done 1367km in 13 hours once... Yeah I know do the math, I might have been going a little quick... I might also know someone who will remain nameless who may have driven to the almighty SA capital in ONE DAY from SYDNEY... Some one... So I think that takes the cake sorry... And yes I'm up for it if you guys can get organised but I will need to leave earlier than you, I'm in Sydney..

True, or you're welcome to stay at my joint which is closeish to Nhill.
It'll make it a 5hr trip to Adelaide though.
I think a camp oven roast and a few beers will be the house special.
<mod edit - no references to illegal substances please!!>

What the??? I was talking about another camp oven numb nuts!!
