Standing Operating Procedures that is. Took the fuel sender out of the tank about 3 months ago to paint the tank. Normally I would put the screws back in their holes - next choice would be leave in the vicinity of where they reside (ie in the boot in the area near the tank.) next choice would be with other nuts and bolts of similar size in the 'small bits' bins.

Be blowed if I can find the (*&^(&^$%$% things. :evil:

Anyone know what size they are?

I can't remember the size, but..
They would be 5/32" or 3/16" dia, and UNF or UNC threads. Measure the hole with calipers... it will be obvious which diameter fits then. Then just decide if it's fine (UNF) or coarse (UNC). Buy a couple of screws to try.

Zip lok bags,small bits bins? i know all my nuts and bolts are either on the car or on the garage floor, only gota look in 2 places :wink:

I screw the put the screws back in but holding them in place with bits of masking tape. So far not had a problem. Also label every thing ie. passenger or driver side etc.

Yes.. I like to keeps my nuts in a bag and my bolt.....
