I washed the Ramflo filter (Unifilter foam) out with turps, dried and oiled it.
Has done 11,000 miles, and a fair bit of stuff came out. Enough to convince me that air filters are worth having on a road car.

Considering the dust we had early last week....yep, I looked at Morris engine bay and it has a lot of the red dust mixed with the oil and needs a good clean up due to the the dust specially sitting on it.

I didn't do any thing on any of the Mini's today but intend to do a few thing tomorrow, will report back

Same here. Washed the red dust off the Mini. Everything else in the shed is covered in it.
Started cleaning it all up but gave up and drank beer instead. :)

Milled 2 slots in Baxter850's diff centre, then put it back together with a new diff pin, spider gears and late type tagged thrust washers.

I'm pretty happy with it so far. It's not 100% finished yet as i'm having issues with the rear speakers. and there is a cover piece to surround the sup and amps to neaten it all up.
