Holes there don't just happen, something whirly but essential has got out, maybe a rod bolt..
I bought a 998 Clubby off a mate, motor is a 998 stroker. It had thrown a rod cap right out the front, bent the conrod and locked the crank up.
Kyoda bought it, maybe she has a pic of the remains... :lol:

reminds me of my mates merc, bought it without looking, owner said it had an electrical problem, when he finally got it home after the carrier managed to crash it he finds that the motor had a hole about the size of my fist in the side of the engine, and he said my mini was a bad buy (his not a mini lover)
