Toyota Turbo has grunt all the way up.

There has been a lot of comment in the 16v forums on this point. The Honda believers reckon that the motor is in fact dual purpose. Keep it below the point where the power comes in heavily and it just ambles around town like any ordinary motor. If you want to boot it then you have to use the gearbox....no choice but to change down. Treated like this the motor makes sense. If you put your foot down in a gear below the power point it is gutless so to speak. Pick another motor if that is how you want to drive is the general consensus of opinion. Both points of view have their valid points.

Yeah I agree- but the Toyota turbo comes in much lower and stays in, it's not like a light switch at 5000? rpm..

I'm a VTEC fan..it's how you drive them, you can row the box and keep them above 6k quite easily :)

Next wakefield park i'll get dad to bring the S2000 along ;)

How did the gearbox get cracked?
They're supposed to be pretty tough - was it transport damage?
