Received a Clutch wok from one of our members and have started to Bling that up

Got the brakes sorted out , the non return valve doover was jamming and not letting any fluid back in ... Once it was sorted it was easy to bleed and then off hooning around the yard :D :D :D Then the clutch pedal stayed on the floor and all drive was lost  Maybe it got jealous that the brakes had been refreshed and it hadn't . Will give it a strict talking to and a bleed as I doubt the parts will get here before the show on Sunday .

Replaced radiator with an aluminium racing type large core, new water pump, cooler thermostat, new top and bottom hoses and bypass hose, new clamps and fresh coolant.

Runs much cooler. Engine actually idles better to as it runs cooler overall.

I had a great...but brief idea....to paint my brake calipers while the car was off the road.

Until I remember I have centrelines and it would serve no purpose.

If you have never seen your mini driven by someone else (you trust) DO IT, you will love it, especially when it comes back

its nice to know what you look like when driving, did it with my bmw the other night.

pity the only person i trust to drive my mini has a habit of telling me everything he hates about "small British pieces of crap" when ever he can, mind you he used to own a Morris 1100!

Thats very true, but I don't really like to be in the car when she drives.... I get scared!
But it is nice when she drives off, stereo louder than the 104 db exhaust, and then comes back in one piece!

I drove NAV to coffs yesterday afternoon.
I'm glad I didn't wash NAV for the trip down, bug city by the time I arrived.
But it was by far the most fun trip I've ever done in a mini.

Not actually on the mini but I reinforced the book case and finally got all my mini books out of the boxes and onto the shelves . Bookcase is 1200mm wide so there are a few of them . Second shelf down is brochures , other material and videos :D

I finished the refresh on Baxter 850's 1132 motor & box (was originally in the wife's S replica).
New diff pin & gears, layshaft & needle bearings, oil pump, crank bearings (not really needed).
Picking it up this morning.
