I had a great...but brief idea....to paint my brake calipers while the car was off the road.

Until I remember I have centrelines and it would serve no purpose.

That's funny :D [/quote]

Took her out for a drive it felt great to be in the Mini again just so great to drive. Once home just had to be polished (again) then off with the dash pots to give them some shine.

Took it to a car show along with the pedal moke and talked mini's all day :D

Good to catch up Steve , Ken , Rob , Jason , Matt , Ian and everyone else there .

Funniest thing was I was talking to a woman who's re-nosed clubbie was next to my fathers S , after chatting for a while I introduced myself and she said her name was Cathy . I said "that's easy to remember , my wife's name is Cathy" . She laughed and said "well my husband is Ian as well " , then my father walked up so I introduced him "this is my father , Bob" and her jaw dropped , "my husband Ian's father's name is also Bob" ... What are the chances of that

I managed to drive all the way back from Coffs Harbour without incident. People tried to get me tangled up on their incompetance but all failed miserably

Hmmmm.... Bizzaro world. like that episode of Seinfeld.

I changed my oxygen sensor and turned the boost down so it wont go over 15 PSI. Not as rich at idle now and hopefully the engine will last longer too!

Looked at the rust around the windscreen and asked myself is it worth it?

I filed Baxter 850's Maniflow freeflow zorst flanges flat.
They were just like those on all the genuine Maniflow LCBs I've bought, bent. You could fit a .005" feeler in behind the top of the middle flange, with all the nuts done up (no gasket, for checking purposes).
No gap there any more...
