Jasmine spotted these in the party supply section of the store so i had to grab them 8)
They are a pull back die cast model. Must be based on a RWD top fuel mini going by the rear wheel arches.

I can just see mini's being parked outside every spotlight store around the country today

I think I have some of these from the early 90's , good to see them being remade . They also had a red/white one before , keep an eye out to see if it's back too .

Coff's spotlight has them , green/flag , yellow/flag and red/flag . Pretty appropriate timing too as I was just about to modify hotwheels sedan to have huge wheel arches at the back ...

Steve

i have only seen 1 spotlight store with a "spartys" section (i have been to 4 in adelaide) so they might be hard to track down.

The people at the supermarket look at me weird when they find 3 matching toy minis on the conveyor belt

I think I've got them trained to the point they don't bat an eyelid anymore ...

Steve , at Coff's they are in a big flat box , say A3 or so in size with one layer of mini's and VW beetles , Coff's had two boxes though there were a few cars missing before I got there , will be going back today to clean out their stock for Matt , I'll see how many I can get and let you and Matt sort out what you want if you can't find any up your way .

There was only one of each colour left (which Matt had dibs on) I'm afraid Steve , someone else beat me to them . Anyone else able to help Steve out ?

Same woman served me this morning as yesterday , "didn't you get enough yesterday  ?" , "no , had to get the rest of them for a friend" . Then she gave a bit of a smile and said "well I always liked mini's , and I loved the original Italian Job when I first saw it" .....

Hi all

I've just got myself the set of three this morning. If anyone wants me to go back and get some for them I should be able to. There were another 13 there, but only 3 sets of all 3 colours.

Price is $4 each plus postage if required.

Cheers
Steve
