Have you bought 12" rims yet?
Make sure you get the right rim/rubber combo, you don't want the 175/45/12's (I think), make sure you get the 165/60/12's. These are a low profile tyre and won't rub your guards as much. It's possible the clubby you saw with 12" rims that you thought looked ugly had these 175/45/12's. Some people might like them, but IMHO they don't look that great.

Please correct me if im wrong but arent the 175/45/12 a LOWER and fatter profile than the 165/60/12's, im sure Jonsey has it ass about

You're right. 175mm wide and 45% of the tyre width is the sidewall height.
I've never seen 175 wide 12s.

I think Jonsey was talking about the 145 wide 12" tyres you can get. Not so Hot!

Yeah,

Had a couple of points that I really should have proof read...
It was talking about the 145/70 tyres. The http://www.ausmini.com/tyres site is giving me virus alerts so I couldn't check it. These look horrible and are very narrow. I had one as my spare because I have 8.4" discs, but I don't know if it would fit under my arches if I had a flat. Might need to put a 10" on the back and move one of the backs to the front...

In regards to the camber, if you lower your suspension it does give you negative. (not positive as I said in my previous statement...) What I was thinking (and not typing), was that the camber on my car is positive because I have to jack the suspension up too high so that the tyres don't rub on my front arches.

Cheers
Jonesy
