If you're really keen you can unpick the hood lining at the front and rear corners of the car and use an electricians snake to push a cable through from front to back in side the car. Use the snake to sneak it up and down the front and rear pillars as well.
Not super easy however as the hood lining can be a little brittle and there's the danger of putting your finger through, also can be fiddly to get the lining to look right after you've finished. You will also need to pull the tank...

I mounted my fuel pump on the rear subframe on my van and ran a wire direct from the battery (in a separate cut out compartment under the load floor behind the driver's seat) through a switch then along the lower floor to the subframe. It's all properly connected, shielded and fused and has worked fine for the past 20 years.
