Hi, I need to do some repairs on the engine in my mini, fix an oil leak and dodgy sincro ring but I have no way to get engine out (have block and tackle but nothing to hook on) and don't know how to remove the large bearings in gearbox without damaging them is there any one in Brisbane that can help me out with this???

go to supercheap and buy and engine hoist. on sale for $250 at the moment until the end of the weekend. You own a mini, the engine will be out time and time again as you learn new stuff to do to it.
It is worth it, trust me.
I have just bought one for myself as i had moved houses and it was time to get one as i was in the same boat as you, nowwhere for the block and tackle i had been using.
