Now before I start , if you are the other person/him/her involved , I do apologize, not , you got the "Special " treatment. If you know the person/him/her or are related, welcome to the real world where the Internet is full of people with a warped sense of humour .

So lets start,http://www.ausmini.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=687732&highlight=#687732 Do you recall the listing on Ebay for the re-made Leyland Clubman doorcards with a starting price of $50 or a Buy-It-Now of $355, well I sent him/her a message about the exorbitant price and him/her was very peeved

Dear peekaboo-finds,

$355 for remade Leyland Clubman doorcards ?

Nein,Niet,Sorry,Not,Never,No,Fail !

- deanm3454

Dear deanm3454,

if you dont like then get lost, pee off, get a life, sad case. go look in the mirror you tool

- peekaboo-finds

Dear peekaboo-finds,

How rude ! , my comment was about asking an exorbitant amount for door cards worth approx $20 each , please do some research before listing Mini parts on Ebay , we are watching you.

- deanm3454

Dear deanm3454,

it is none of your business you sad case. go watch yourself and get a life if all you do is watch what people do on ebay. and offcourse, how rude of you to have messaged in the first place when you were not interested. loser

- peekaboo-finds

Dear peekaboo-finds,

I do like how you can't be positive with your replies, I was looking forward to some biting wit with a dash of sarcasm but it seems that you have only just passed Crayons Level 2 and PlayDough Level 3 , I hope you do sell the doorcards and that the buyer can appreciate the lack of effort on your behalf to list them properly. As I said we are watching you.

- deanm3454

Dear deanm3454,

watch all you like sad case, you are just that nerd on ebay who thinks he is tuff. you havent even passed weasel whimp level 1

- peekaboo-finds

Dear peekaboo-finds,

I find your open hostility quite interesting, Sigmund Freud once said that someone who displays random aggression and communicates with bad grammar was often socially inept and prone to wet the bed, please accept my apologies if you are of the smaller percentage who have food allergies and Porphyrophobia. Best of luck with your Ebay sale.

- deanm3454

Dear deanm3454,

thanks for the advice !

- peekaboo-finds

Well, do I continue their misery and angst or do I say " I,ve had my fun, who's next " :D

I actually did the same thing to this guy. I told him that they're definately not cooper cards, then he went all PMS and said get a life etc.

I just told him he was taking advantage of the misunderstood cooper s tax and he was a fraud. I havent had a reply as of yet.

I feel sorry for the poor guy who has bid on them

We'll see how that goes.

This is what I emailed him. It could be a genuine mistake,

Hi mate, hows it going? Just thought that I better let you know that the door trims are actually of a Leyland Clubman- mini ( genuine factory ones have a plastic weld lines not just streched. Definatly not a Cooper or Cooper S! ( so many people think that all minis were called Coopers. Just dont want to see some one like yourself get shafted because you have listed them incorrectly. ( The Cooper S doesnt have the big hole cut into them, they have 2 small round holes. ) also Left hand tank was fitted to every mini, although the one you are selling is larger than a Cooper S and off a leyland mini ( like the door trims) the Cooper S had a right hand tank thats the rare one,

Cheers Brett

ha ha,,, i just love you Dean, well done :-)

& Brett,,, spot on mate, also well done,,, maybe a bit more politically correct than Deans, but still just as much to the point.

typical,,, everyone has a damn mini-k type cooper"S" & every mini ever made was a dam mini-k type cooper"S" & & & i`m sooo damn sick of mnini-k type Cooper"S"s,,, I`m soooo over mini-k type cooper"S"s now so who wants to buy my 2x mini-k type cooper"S"s??? """Every-one Knows they`re rare :-) :-) :-)

edit--> repaired my ignorant gramatical & spelling errors

Oh!!! & everyone knows that if it was a genuine cooper "S" then it would have a Leyland mini "S" badge on the boot lid right ??? :-) :-) :-)

Hi guys

While I know what you mean Brett, you are also incorrect. The last of the Cooper S's had burstproof doors so were fitted with the clubman style door cards with the big hole for the inner door handle. I must say though, I do agree that these are not Cooper S, just not for all the reasons you gave :D

Cheers
Steve

Recently I have seen two Leyland Mini S's on Ebay that the sellers claimed were fitted with 1100S motors. They were 1100's and the cars were Mini S's so that makes them 1100S.

i think this guy may be yet another mini expert (he would fit in well here), so i am asking for his advice.......cant wait for his reply

Dear peekaboo-finds,

g'day,
i am currently restoring a 78 australian cooper and am desperate for the correct door cards.
could you give me an idea of what years cooper they fit?
they are definitely cooper trim and not cooper "s" .
is that correct?
cheers
gaz
