My clutch and brake pedals are sticking. Is it the return springs that could be shot?

Any suggestions?

Possibly broken springs, or the swivel point needs lubricating.... but more than likely your master cylinders are siezing up a bit. Unfortunately.

i had the same problem,, abit of wd40 and she was fine.

If it's old I'd pull it all out, clean & grease shaft & bushes, refit for another 40 years.. 8)
