I brought a set of boot rubber clips and they seem too big. The end just about fits in the hole but i have no chance of pushing the whole clip in its is pyshically too wide acroos the clips flat section!

Has anyone else had this issue or do i need to be more brutal, or slightly grind/file the clips??

I wrestled with the little buggers for an hour before getting the sh1ts and gluing it in

I am hopeless at all things trimming,, I can usually defeat rubbers ... but in this case, no luck..
