This is fantastic!

I can't get over the generosity of the Ausmini community to help out a fellow Mini lover. :D

I've had PM's from multiple people offering to store the car and now an offer to get it halfway home!

I have spoken to the missus and she has agreed that I can make a trip to Goulburn to pick it up once the baby is settled in, say in a month's time.

I have told the seller I will take the car.

850 GT and Morris 1100, I will PM you shortly.

BTW: Anyone want to buy an AE82 Seca Autox car, because it's going on the market. :)

Cheers,

It looks like it has Commodore calipers but it still has the steel front panels, so either way it should stop eventually.

Oh - it is a racecar ???

Just let me put the motor on the trailer and I am on my way. Can we turn down a set of radials at your place - the tread is too high on the spare set.

Mike

It looks like a race car. I don't know if it ever was a race car but it sure looks like one. It has wheels and tyres, big ones! They will need buffing because the chance of rain around here at the moment is zero.
I have a 1275 in the shed that would drop straight in and it would be ready to go!

I don't think there is any rush. They are having a burnout comp at Wakefield this weekend. And I don't think my old 1275 motor would be capable of smoking the 13 x 8's.

Okay - cant do next weekend so you drop the motor in and I'll come down the weekend after for a guest drive.

What diffs have you got Mick ?? 13 x 8 might be a bit of a slug to get out of corners. I have an 1" 1/2 SU we could could bolt on as well or i could pull the HIF off the road car for extra grunt.

Just been looking at the car again. The wheels are not 13 x 8 they are 13 x 7 but the tyres are Pirelli. :D
The seat is going to be a snug fit, it is awfully narrow, may have to fit a standard seat.

There is no master cylinder and it has been converted to take a laying down type. I probably have a Holden one in the shed that might do.
