Hello ALL. Does anyone have some tips on fitting a hood lining mine just arrived and you know the question HOW HARD CAN IT BE its starting to look hard ! thanks.

Do a search on Ausmini mate, i remember one of us fitted one awile ago and he put up some pretty desent instructions, just cant remember who,sorry

I used Gmicks instructions about a month ago. Worked out really well. It was actually quite easy to do. No wrinkles. When it came from Newton commercial my hoodlining had been folded and there were creases in it so I put the hood bows in and mounted it in the rails, clipped it around the window openings and then left it for a couple of weeks before glueing it in place. Just leaving it there for those couple of weeks under tension got rid of all the creases.
I tried pegs, spring clamps from the hardware store and peices of the old windscreen rubber to hold it in place, but none were ideal. Then I tried bull dog clips from the stationery shop - worked perfectly.

Thats what i used based on advice from willy, worked a treat. I had 60 clips which was just enough ($5 from officeworks).
I used a gel type contact adhesive as it doesn't drip.
Spend a lot of time just positioning it right, i took about 2 hours getting it in the right spot then glued it, came up great
