No, this isnt a misplaced "For Sale" advertisement... just wondering if I am heading in the right direction...

I am considering selling sc850 in its current condition (meaning stripped).

This is whats gonna go.

1963 Morris 850 shell. (is not defected) Very little seam rust.
Doors boot bonnet fitted. All windows on back seat.
Arches are drilled and cut to suit Sportspack arches. (supplied)
Brand new passenger floor panel for rust repair job.
Straight subframes, without brakes.
No wheels.

Basically, I came to the conclusion on the weekend that I should change my car plans.

1x New Holden ute. Unmodified, just mags. Keep it legal.
1x 63 Mini roadster. With ALL the goodies. Road registered with supercharged engine.
1x Mini race car, fibreglass and lexan perspex, slicks, big power, non street legal.

I figure that I should get myself on a racetrack, now that so many of my friends are already doing it. Build a Club Car for Supersprint race meetings. Something that doesnt need to be street legal. Having 3 road registered cars is starting to look like too much stuffing around.

I would rather sell the shell than cut it up for a race car. I can get my old silver flipfront back again. Thats the plan.

Ideas???

Oh god... too many questions.... here we go.

Low/Harley/Moker - I was thinking 700. Remember, its only the parts listed in my first post. No chromework, no wheels... just the bare shell, doors boot bonnet, bare subframes, fibreglass sportspack arches, a new floor panel, and glass.

Orange - Already sold my old supercharger.

Clubman - no engine to sell.

Oh, and I have that full alloy roll cage to sell aswell..... maybe 500?

I am only thinking about it at the moment..... I am confused as to what I want to do in the way of a fast car.

Decisions decisions.....

SC850,
That would be a good car for me to start with. I've always liked the your white sportspack car, and if i got it, in goes the EFI, sports seats and 13x7's. Would consider the roll cage too for safety reasons (that's why I want a rover, for the intrusion beams)
I probably wouldn't even paint it, except maybe a black roof and rust repair.
But, I don't think I want to organise moving a shell intestate, as transport mobs want a rolling car with brakes.
Let us know when you make a decision, OK?

Like your idea, and Id be much inlcined to go the same way.

Have a daily driver, a weekend cruiser and race car...perfect if you ask me. Whats the point of having 3 road regoed cars really... 8)

Why a holden ute as a daily driver as well? And if so a 6 or an 8?

Was thinking a Holden ute.... because I'll need something to tow the race car to the track, carry the tools and spares.... would be either a supercharged V6 , or a more reliable V8...

Or maybe I could get a Toyota Hilux... and make it a Low-lux
