Do what you want, but remember it's illegal to drive with them turned on unless you're in the country.

That is incorrect, the rule is they can be used were there is no street lighting.

Put as many as you think need or want, remember it is your Mini, no one else's.
Cheers Pete

The first photo is how I,ve set up my single Lucas 55W driving light on a Single Lucas light bracket this is wired to the high beam switch , I removed the dimmer switch for the binnacle and connected the wires and used the dimmer switch bracket to mount a switch for the the driving light, so high beams on / power to the light / pull the switch/ high beams driving light on/off with high beam switch . And yes that is Asparagus zip-tied to the aerial

Second photo was the "Snail" at the MiniShow 50th , Lucas 55w driving lights mounted on Lucas light brackets with the bracket over-riders clipped on, this was not wired up , just for display only, I did'nt have the right bolts to mount them securely .

Notice the attention to detail, the headlamp grilles and the hood pins both photo etched parts.

What about the swich master and wipers? Also photo etched.

Look the seat belts!!!!!

My first mini was a clubbie and I had 3 spotties on the front all on a nudge bar , two 7" on top and a 10" hanging underneath on a bar between the two top driving lights . Not sure how legal it was but I was in a very rural area with plenty of 'roo's so it sort of helped ...

I've got 2 on my clubman van atm and i am going to add 2 more before long, just need to upgrade my alternatore to keep up with all my upgrades, big stereo, h4 headlights, and spot lights, adding 2 more to that would kill it i think.

I think the way they are setup on the above model is pretty special, do it like that.

Actually (in Victoria at least) that's incorrect too -- they can be used anywhere if you need more visibility and there are no cars ahead of you for 400m.

I voted four but I'm going to put 2 on mine.

As mine is going to be a modified to hell, non-original, I'm thinking about putting two lightforce on the front in front of the grill, which will also be modified.

This car building is a slow business! I'm still on the rear subframe for gawds sake!

I'm going to put 4 on Hetty. 2 in front of the grill and 2 driving lights under the bumper.. The previous owner had 2 driving lights on, but very tacky looking, I replaced them with shiny chrome backed ones. They looked much better and worked really well on dark, poorly lit or unlit roads.
