oh,,, i`m caught between 2 at the moment

one vote for bunyips idea (i might be a little biased with that one tho :-) )

& the other vote for supoer sevens idea (OH & not just because there`s a split kombi in the pic either :-) but that did help ;-) )

Well it would be interesting to have a Moke like this with a Metro Turbo 1310 and Waggott 212 Cam, straight cut gear box and drop gears with cross pin diff etc,etc usual candy

or how about a 1970 Morris Nomad 1300 with a V-Tec conversion, actually if your keen you can have it for $450 ( as in you take the Nomad and do the conversion )

Got to have a turbo charged westlake head onto a 6-speed box and the body carbon fibre doors, boot, front end and roof along with perspex windows.

power-to-weight should be good :D

welll,,, ive always had a soft spot for the Nomad,,, best ever sleeper in the whole wide world,,, & turbo V-tec 4x4 platform would be just perfect :-)

Obviously keeping it sand beige :-)

slightly wider wheels but kept std-ish looking, some "decent" rubber around them, a coil/over shock package to suit & lay the seats down for a comfy nites rest after winning Hay heros :-)

it would be a pretty decent tow car for the hillclimb special too yeah?

Cheers Bunyip.

ah don't taint my love for roof chopped minis with airbags etc. It was never done for the low-rider look, purely to lower the drag coefficient. the windscreen was raked back a few extra degrees too. Purely for performance!

I,m right with you Matt, I was actually thinking of a B16A with quad throttle bodies just like this one http://autospeed.com/cms/title_VTEC-Pow ... ticle.html and making it AWD would be interesting :)

And just for the chop top Hot Rod Van fans here's a photo just for you

Dream... Hmmm... A Speedster. With a sprinted body. Wide 10" wheels. And RWD or 4x4. And low. And a Midged-ish window frame. And all in a loud colour and with decent power (not too much, just 'enough'). And 'old school', no modern stuff or plastic 8)
