mini clinic in padstow has a stunning turkish walnut dash imported to the UK and exported to here
$625

the older centre piece + two side pieces with doors
would be about $150-$200

A pic of what you are looking at would help. Should then be able to give you an idea.

That dassh would be about £150 - £200 new.

Convert to $, plus postage to OZ = A LOT OF MOOLA! :D

did you want it in wood or metal?

im sure you could get it made if metal
sheets of aluminium and a handyman would be easy-ish

I am making one similar for JAM. Here is my secret....

MDF cut to shape (I have a template) and covered in carbon fibre effect LAMINATE! I am thinking a black / grey carbon fibre....or maybe black / red?!?!?

Strong, sturdy, hot looking and cheap! Might even look just like that Pommie Rover dash

Just wanted to see how much moola it would cost to buy one..But if its too expensive then I'll make my own...

A template you say, Anton...Hmmmm...

But while we are on the dash can someone recommend the best gauges to use? Not the cheap ones..

I have an alloy dash just like that in mutant (imported from UK) and hubbie John has the walnut wood version (also from UK).

Afraid the price your looking at is about right. There is a place down here sells them and they are about the same.

I have a mate who could cover it in ACTUAL carbon fibre for a reasonable price if you're interested. Only problem is then mine won't be one of a kind when I eventually do it!!!

PS. How did you go with those photo's of the gauges Anton??

Are these after market and Rover dashes model specific or do they fit all?
