just put the pipes in and was wondering if they self centre to seal the connection? and also, does gravity bleeding work if the front of the car is in the air?

ok i just started the gravity bleeding, the rears are going well but the front are not going yet.. is it because the front is jacked up and gravity is working against them? am i correct in saying that, i bleed the rear ones then close them off and the front ones should start gravity bleeding?

just "finished" the fronts.

I bought new connection pipes (the ones that join both wheel cylinders) because as the good doc said they were stuffed, mushroomed over. but still they leak. Is there any wrong way in installing them? do they self locate? and finally how tight do they need to be done up?

thanks for any help.

Leighton
