Got the subframes back from the sandblaster today. All good and clean.









Going to paint them with KBS gloss black....post to follow

My shed is a disgrace.

It started out as my area then suprise, suprise, kids bikes, wife's excess furniture, surfboards and a whole lot of other crap arrived uninvited.

But agree...needs a good cleanout. Once I get the Mini on a spit and out for sandblasting then I'll probably get after it....

So how did the painting go? I am interested to hear what the KBS paint is like to work with (and whether you remembered - or knew - to seal the tin with gladwrap (If it's anything like the POR-15 , you'll never be able to open it again if you put the lid straight back on the tin).

I blame my dad for my love of minis. I think I was conceived in the back seat of one
I also blame my Dad for me being 6' 1" - not really the optimum height for driving a Mini.

I'll get some photo's up in the next days or so.

Painting went well. Apart from "Do not get paint on hands as it will not come off"! I wish I had read this first.

I used rubber gloves for the second coat!
