In the market for some second hand seats.

Not looking to buy new ones from minisport etc, far too expensive.
Thinking of something along the lines of Lazer TX3 seats.

What seats fit in the mini that are fully adjustable without too much modification, and have enough room for rear access.

Have tried the search function, but it returns a whole lot of useless nothings.

I installed Honda CRX seats in my old Clubman. Overall, fitted very well but didn't allow for too much adjustment rearward because of the "map storage" bin next to the rear seat. If foulded against it.

Does anyone know if Pulsar seats fit, or do they have them fitted?

Pulsar Exa Turbo seats fit fine, but they're narrower than the normal Pulsar seats.
Suzuki Swift Gti seats are nice (if you can get them) or normal Barina ones.

I put a pair of MX5 seats into a mini. For all these you need to be able to fab your own mounting brackets. I think we swapped the seats Right-Left so that the adjustment knobs wouldn't foul the door pockets.

I had Honda Civic seats in my Cooper S at one time. They were comfortable enough but a bit heavy. I 've now got Cobra Classic low backs which are less than half the weight.

Hi adam,

this is just my opinion, but after market seats never seem to look right in a mini unless they are race or period. The only times i think they ever look good is if they are trimmed to suit the car.

Why no purchase a second hand set of cobra classics? or even a set of rover seats?
