Anyone know how i can repair this lead, it has come of in the dizzy?

can you solder it back on?

Generally these ends are crimped on. If it has done this then it can be repaired but it is also usually a sign that the lead has had it's day and needs replacing anyway. A full set of new leads is only about $20 to $25 for OK standard ones.

I take it that it is not a lucas 23 or 25D4 or anything electronic. In the range of 29D4 or 45D4, with a flying type lead.

Yes it can be soldered, however, it can easily be replaced. I guess that the reason it broke in the first place is because the plastic insulation has gone quite hard and become brittle.
