It's not easy being green.

Yeppo, I drive it daily so I'll just cycle it every day until it comes out clean :)

Good thing is, it's just too easy with this rig  Thanks again for the fittings 8)

now to psych myself up to replace radiator/water pump

Nah, it's not that big a job.. I did mine recently. Use Matt Read's radiator-out technique and you'll have the whole job done in two hours easy.

Pump it high and blow it down, HARD. Should only take 3 or 4 goes.

Still yuk-brown today, with a tinge of green. Like a baby's nappy

Couple more and it'll come clean, I reckon ;)

Was fitting the boot seal to Hetty today and dropped the boot down past the point of where the wire hangers attach because I wanted a little extra swing room and cracked a bit of the bog around the lower mounting bolts most of it's below the bumper but ARRRRRRRRRGH!!!!! ....... Sigh.......

Fixed damage on boot hinges. Primed and ready to be blended in. Boot hinges on the correct sides now. Works so much better now...

Got the lock nuts off without the socket key. Two came off with a cheap socket hammered on & wound off, two had to have the socket welded on before they came undone.

Also got my estimate for my Mk II shell sodablasted (very reasonable), so when I hear back from the engineers about my plans to flip front it, I can really make some progress.

Replaced the front brake cylinders on the Mini Deluxe, drained the oil and found some BIG pieces of metal which look like a bearing cage. :(
Looks like the engine is about to come out :?: That will keep me busy for a few nights next week...

Replaced the "temporary" stater motor with a freshly painted replacement
Washed it ready for the "MAD" day at Swansea tomorrow, but by the look of the weather it may be washed out 'till next weekend

funny story - mick sends me an email today alerting me to an su fuel pump on eBay because he know's I'm after one.

So I goes out to start the GT and guess what? The effing fuel pump has decided to shite itself! Is that esp or WHAT!

Anyway - managed to find a "spare" working facet type pump in some mad dudes shed to get me by until I can buy one - replaced the pump and all's good in the world again.

And not only did I get the fuel pump but some yummy treats from a 2yo birthday party too!!!!

PS: I saw some other crazed dude walking out with a box of bling just as I got there
