Minispares also does the same one as Huddersfield.

I don't like the way the knuckle joint adjusts in an offset manner in the Minispares one in the picture above.

Having used both, the Huddersfield ones are stronger and easier to use. The Mini Spares ones look stronger, but the threaded end, which is used for adjustment, is quite small compared to the rest of the arm and IMO makes for a weak point. The ends on the Huddersfield one appear forged and the adjustment and lock nuts are just so much easier to get at than the Mini Spares ones.

At the end of the day, for normal road use (not abuse) they are both good.

Mine look like the Huddersfield version - although they're about 20+ years old and had a Selby badge when I bought them.

If someone looks close enough to get upset at one type they'll react to the other.

I think price is pretty much the only determinant.

Cheers, Ian

At least they are adjustable- not like the `cut the arm in half, space out 3/16", arc weld back together' jobs we did in the `60s.

These ones were made by Thornligh Steering and Suspension, now long gone. They did them for Selbys and K-Mac and anyone else who wanted them....

They did them from standard arm, cut and welded the threaded ends in. They were done very well and it was difficult to see that they were welded.

I have had and sold lot of these and they were great. IMO I think you'd have a hard time picking between these and the Huddersfield ones.
