Hi all,
Just started putting on my stage 1 kit from minisport, and found that the inlet gaskets aren't included. And after buying one, I realised that I need two because there was a spacer attached to the old manifold.
I've just cut one out of some gasket cork, but I've noticed that the minisport inlet manifold has a larger hole. I'm using an HS4, and the manifold is also compatible for the HIF44s which need the bigger hole.
Should I just cut the gasket hole a little bigger? No big problem, I'm just not sure what's usually done, and I don't think having the gasket hanging inside the manifold is a good idea.
(Sorry about all the recent topics I've made - I want my mini back on the road!)
