What is a normal amount to pay for the 1/24 kits, i found a couple yesterday but i thought they were a bit over priced at $40 each, so they are still @ the shop

Generally $35ish , I've seen them for up to $50 at some places though

Check out this place , it's an online shop based in Melbourne . I haven't used it myself but know a few people who have and they haven't had any drama's with them . A week or so ago there was a Tamiya mini kit on special with them for $25 or so too so keep checking as they move their special's about a bit .

I got three different ones from a seller in Hong Kong on ebay for $19- each and postage wasn't too bad.
