I'd agree with Gafmo. Moulded all the way.

BTW, does a rear spoiler actually do anything (performance wise) on a front-wheel drive car?

In a perfect world, a rear spoiler would give you an extra 54 bhp... But alas, reality take away the dream...

*SIGH* I guess it just wasn't to be...

Follow the Red off the Rear Spoiler (Bling Factor no HP) and follow the strip down and to the Front...Nice Look

more downforce to the rear of the car.. rear brakes should work better... technically

and yes, moulded was the way to go if it were fibreglass. Plastic wont adhere to anything very well.. so Ive been told. Dont worry, if its bolted you wont see any bolts, and I'll ensure its a perfect fit to the roof ;)

If I bolt it I'll use a thin black rubber seal between the 3 attaching points. That will go with the red/black theme ;)

yeah, go for it :) but theres probably better options out there. I didnt look into it very thoroughly, but a Proton rear spoiler was worth a look (also has rear led brake light) and other small car roof spoilers may fit without cutting ;)

The important thing is to try and get one with more squarish lines to match the Mini van roofline shape (basically straight rear roofline)

well a lancer spoiler is not well renowned for adding extra downforce to the back of a lancer doing less than 300km/hr
its rice

however.. it looks cool on the back of a mini and all it would really do is add drag and weight

i wasnt going to go the lancer spoiler.. just the whole roof spoiler with brake light thing

doh!

oh well.. its just rice then :P

edit: well actually, the lancer spoiler "as was" wouldnt have had much/any downforce as there was basically no angle to it.
However....
when I cut it down and reshaped its base, I have built in 2-3degrees angle.. therefore I will have some downforce ;)

i'm sure most factory spoilers have little or no aero effect under light speed
