HI All,

Was wondering if anyone on here can help me . My fuel pump gave up last week and I have my car at the mechanic ,but they have said they are having probems sourcing a replacement.
I emailed my contact who I normally buy parts from and they mentioned that the replacement filte for Rovers could be upwards of $450... ouch

He also mentioned in the email that others with Rover Coopers have used Commodore VL fuel pumps, has anyone heard of using these on Rovers.

Any help on this would be appreciated as I really dont want to pay $450.00

cheers all.

If its a SPI system with a in tank pump, i have a complete tank here for way less than you were qouted for a pump.

If it isn't the in tank type and is on the fire wall check that the impact sensor hasn't cut in and turned off the pump .
