Not a requirement for Oz Minis made after that either, provided it has been registered before.

So should the green car have a plate?

Are these genuine?

May be a early to mid/late 69 model....

Going by the numbers supplied by the seller the red car car is a late 1968 build. The engine is non-matching and is approx early 1968.

The green car's engine is approx mid 1967 , so if the body was matching it should have an ID plate. Even if it the ID plate is missing it should still have other numbers to indicate if its an original S shell.

I love these "guess the price" games!

Now, if I had won lotto and had a huge shed out the back..........

I'm trying to spot hints of the date from the engine bay...there's no generator voltage reg which means it may be an alternator model (or converted to one) and there's a mk2 wiper motor....hard to say, but the numbers to find I believe are the ones on the radiator shroud and in the drip rail at the back of the engine bay.

"Any questions will be answered to the best of my ability although as far as originality is concerned I'm of the opinion that if it looks like a duck, swims like a duck & quacks like a duck, it's a duck"

This statement on the listing seems to say to me that these aren't genuine but they look like what they are meant to be so let's call them that

That would have to be the scariest thing you could put into a listing if you wanted to verify something's originality ...
