hey guys as I'm ordering a package tonight from the UK i need to know which quickshift will fit a 74 clubman 1100 4spd van, anybody know?

Have a look under the car at the gearshift, if theres a big aluminum case its remote if not itd be rod change.

Or theres a chance it could be a magic wand, where they gearstick comes out the bulkhead.

Best (and cheapest) so-called `quickshift' for a rodchange is get a hacksaw and shorten the one you've got.:mrgreen:
Half the ones sold out there don't fit or work properly.
If the linkage is sloppy, fix that first- don't rely on a quickshift to take up the slack. :wink:

BTW they are really a shortshift, not a quickshift.

yea okay, i figured tho i needed a new one anyway due to the old one being previously snapped off & somebody done a dodgy job at welding it back on :( . why are people so mean to minis :x
