Hi guys I recently bought some bee hive orange front indicator lamps. I'm really sorry but how do you attach them to the car? it doesn't look like you could bolt them on to the guard.. there's 3 small hex nuts that come from the metal backing plate and onto the rubber thingamo at the back but yeah was not sure at a glance!

any help would be awesome!
thanks,
Tom

Hi Tom, pretty sure they just pop in and are held in with the rubber seal boot?

Three small pk screws pass through the metal plate, through the rubber seal and into the speed nuts on the body. The glass lens inserts into the rubber seal, and the chrome ring goes around the lens and into the rubber seal as well. There's no mechanical fixing to hold the glass to the body, it relies on the chrome ring and the seal.

Make sure you use the chrome ring and make sure its locked in.
I smashed 2 before the car was on the road because sat on the front guard and that knocked it loose.

no really trick just done the rite way.
three screws from backing plate through the rubber to the speed nuts of the body. fit globe and check if it works for both parkers and blinker.
Glass fits and is snug on the inside ring. when done properly you don't actually need he outer chrome ring to hold the glass in.
Fit Chrome ring..its tight and snug
I'v just done this

Heres a range of the different types, yours will likely be like in the two bottom rows. Just a cheap version of a proper nut really, and made to suit coarse screws

Make sure you use new rubbers. Old ones are usually hard and are almost impossible to put the lens and trim ring back into. Often they split, rendering them useless anyway.

Cheers,
