Should go alright when he gets a decent carby on it.

we have proven that a hot 998/1098 can do better than a standard 1275 and we can get more than 50hp at the castle hill dyno runs with the rite set up and tune properly.
If you have a spare 1275/1100s short motor sitting around their is no substitute for cubes

Waggott 509

Duration- Inlet. 263 Exhaust. 266 @ .050"- Inlet .221 Exhaust .223 Cam Lift- Inlet .270 Exhaust .270

good strong torque, slight lump on idle

http://www.waggottcams.com.au/

no real need to get a billet one made, just get the factory cam reground
.

or an MD266, from Russell Engineering.
or his latest, the RE83. Kills everything up to 6500, which is as far as a roady 1098 should go anyway.
or for more top end, an RE13.

We have a 1100 in scrapper atm, has GR's 100 thou pistons in it, i belive its a nicer engine than the 1342 Cooper S motor that was in the car before it, so easy to drive, smooth power & torque band, Aaron & I love it!!!!

Hay, it's not about the car, it's not about the venue, it's about the people that come here. Peter Dwyer, Mayor of Hay NSW.

GR's roady 998 has about 68hp ATW, with just 1 cam and no hairdryer. :P
No BMW parts on top.
