If it has inboard CV's then it will have 2.

Same happened to me once. I had not long had the car and the wheel alignment was incorrectly done. It had more lock one way than the other. This allowed the spider of the outboard CV to contact the drive shaft and by the action of that, it pulled the shaft from the CV.......

yes on the outer end of the drive shaft there should be a circlip that goes all the way through the plines in the cv and stops the driveshaft coming out of the cv and there should be another about 1 inch up the splines on the drive shaft to stop the driveshaft bottoming out in the cv.

fairly common thing to be left out I know this coz I have done to mine.

I understand that your frustrated that problems happen to you, he was just pointing out that commas or even pressing enter after a sentence to spread out a block of text is common courtesy.
It helps us understand what is happening and saves more posts clarifying what happened.
No offence is meant at all.

Chillax Mate. Compared to some of the forums I've been on "I got a Mini" That first post was Shakesperean.... Seriously

Well done on a quick roadside fix. I love it when things work out. 8)

Can everyone please give i got a mini a break , he suffered a serious head injury a few years ago and as a result is doing the best he can (and doing pretty ddamn good considering) . Last time this came up the stirring caused a great deal of hurt to him and his family so please give him a bit of leeway .

Thanks for posting your story 'I got a mini', I would rather read your posts with grammar and spelling errors than not read them at all. Good to hear you have two brothers who can lend a hand and that you can fix a problem like that. I would be calling a tow truck to get it to a mini mechanic. Cheers.
